This is a school project. In order to polish my graphic design skills, I am taking a specialisation from the California Institute of Arts on Coursera. This is the final assignment of the "Introduction to Image Making" class.
The Project theme was the Swan, and the goal was to create an image book.
The Typeface of the book is PT Serif. I extended the initial "S" to resemble a swan' lower body and wings, while the typeface's original serif resembles the swan had.
Swans mate for life, and create heart shapes when facing each other. They brings a connotation of softness, kindness, family.

Another vectorized pen sketch, this time with a higher degree of abstraction.
Finally, the most contemporary connotation of the swan is the floaty, commonly seen in the swimming pools of high class hotels, intended to fulfil their guests' social media goals.
